Comparative analysis of numerical computational techniques for determination of the wind turbine aerodynamic performances

چکیده
The purpose of this paper is to explore and define an adequate numerical setting for the computation aerodynamic performances wind turbines various shapes sizes, which offers possibility choosing a suitable approach minimal complexity future research. Here, mechanical power, thrust, power coefficient, thrust pressure distribution along blade, relative velocity contoure, at different speeds stream-lines were considered by two methods: blade element momentum CFD, within three turbulence models analyzed. estimation mentioned was carried out on turbine blades. obtained solutions compared with experimental nominal (up-scaled) values, available in literature. Although flow as steady, satisfactory correlation between results achieved. comparison also showed, significance selection, regarding geometry analyzed most appropriate performances.
